Advanced Restorative Dentistry for Renewed Oral Health
Dental implants are one of the most advanced restorative dentistry treatments, providing permanent, life-like replacements for missing teeth. The benefits of dental implants are numerous. Implants can support a single crown, a bridge or even a full denture. Before referring a patient for an implant consultation with a local specialist, Dr. Olszewski will determine if a patient is a candidate for an implant and will provide an estimate for restoring the implant.
Dental crowns are tooth-shaped caps used to cover and restore teeth following treatment for damage or decay. Dr. Olszewski offers lifelike crowns that are custom-crafted at a trusted offsite lab to complement your smile and look completely natural. Our crowns can be designed to attach to existing teeth, providing strength and support, or restore dental implants.
We offer all types of dentures. Traditional full dentures are customized to fit snugly around your alveolar ridge, held in place by denture adhesive. Partial dentures (also called bridges) replace one or more consecutive missing teeth. Full and partial implant-supported dentures offer functionality that is virtually identical to your natural teeth, and will stay firmly in place while you eat and speak.
Sometimes called “partial crowns,” inlays and onlays are custom restorations recommended when a crown would be excessive, but a filling would not provide adequate support following cavity treatment. Inlays and onlays are made from the same high-quality porcelain as our crowns and bridges. They are crafted at our trusted offsite lab to achieve a precise fit, not unlike a puzzle piece, while achieving a natural appearance.
Dr. Olszewski typically uses fillings to restore a tooth following cavity treatment. We only offer tooth-colored composite resin fillings, which blend with your smile for a natural appearance. To place a filling, Dr. Olszewski will remove the decayed portion of your tooth, and then carefully apply the tooth-colored resin to fill the remaining void, providing structural support and restoring a natural appearance.
Dental bridges are restorative prosthetics designed to bridge gaps caused by missing teeth. Also called partial dentures, this type of restoration can be used to replace a single missing tooth, or up to three teeth in a row. They are a trusted and effective procedure, available as both traditional and implant-supported, to restore your smile and regain dental function. Our practice uses only the highest quality materials so that your bridge will be nearly indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
Full mouth reconstruction is a combination of procedures customized to meet your particular health, aesthetic, and restorative needs. The customized treatment plan can include virtually any type of procedure and often features dental implants, crowns, bridges, and fillings. More complex cases may require prerequisite procedures like bone grafting through a local specialist.
A tooth extraction nay be necessary when your tooth becomes severely damaged due to gum disease, decay, or another concern. When a damaged tooth cannot be saved, an extraction may be the only way to keep oral issues, such as infection or decay, from spreading to your gums, jawbone, or other teeth.
